Well that just scuppered today, just went to get ready to go out and muscle spasmed. Hurts to move and breath now so more pills and sofa time.

Porsche Indian red (Indishrot) , needs mopping and a few odd runs to sort. Bit more mobile now but still have to take care sitting down, struggled to get a pan from bottom shelf to cook a veg curry.

Yes I just put up plastic sheet to make a spray booth, still got some dust in it. Have to redo the tail gate and rear panel as well as the rear spats, wanted to do it when it was hot but cant afford the paint.

2 lots of pain killers and good to go this morning, called in on mum and picked a load of blackberries for Deb. Made a better lamp using the ceiling light D gave me, needs a smaller bulb to do the other one. Got some jars from mum for green bean chutney and 2 onions, will have to go round the shop tomorrow and get 2 more as recipe said 4. Bit shy of malt vinegar as well. Told Deb if she wants more blackberries to go and help herself as mum is not picking anymore, must have been as many as I picked still on the bush.
 D gave me a cucumber from his greenhouse as well as a courgette, not sure when it will get cooked as have the one from mum to make as stuffed marrow and now 2 more----------

I used to work in a garage when we were slow the boss would have me paint some vehicles and fix them up for resale, mostly pickups. The lighting was horrible but after a few I got pretty good at it. I would hold a light in one hand and the spray gun in the other. Watching the reflection to tell how much I had sprayed. He liked to use enamel paint with hardener (cheap). I would thin it to make it spray better.

That is what we call 2K paint ,isocyanate so not good to breath any fumes. Have a filter mask but it should be pressure fed ,still its not killed me yet (cough cough)
 Dull and cloudy, rain on the way later. Looks like jeans and a light jacket/hoodie for the shop trip.

Cooking done, green bean chutney in the jars but it only made 3. Needed smaller jars, recipe said 200ml. Dry veg curry made to use up a few remaining beans and bits, Keema cooked and marrow (well I say marrow but its  a large courgette) filled and cooked ready for dinner. Kitchen cleaned and now time for a sit down as I need it!!

They were only 1200cc, first time I built it in 79 it had an MGB engine and running gear so went okay. Now it has 220hp.
 Nice day now after last night rain, should be some beans to pick now. Off down the garage to see if I can make another lamp and sort some more bits out.

How do you choose what to do?  Decisions.  Pick beans, make chutney, help your mum.  Busy girl!

Found some more goodies in mums garage this morning, repaired a small wooden box to take and filled a small tray with knickknacks. Going to be a tight squeze to fit it all in the car so tomorrow its time to sort through what I have and get the boxes reduced as in ram as much in each box as will go!!

3hrs graft got the garage at home sorted, pallets laid on the floor to put my camping gear and other stuff on. Boxes of bits for the auto jumble done, still not sure if it will all fit in my motor. Folks from the house in the carpark (that recently moved in) were taking stuff to the recycle centre and stopped for a natter as well as the new person in flat5 ,he liked my lamps and said he might be interested in one.

Rush around today, went to go shopping and road at a standstill, luckily I was opposite the entrance to the back road so went that way. It was the traffic going to the Sunshine music fest, someone said it took 2 hrs to get through town (2 miles!) good job it had cleared by the time I took the daily for its annual test.
Went to one supermarket this morning for spices, yes they still do them so fully stocked now apart from cloves. Rush to pick up a light bulb, then fuel and met mum for food shop . Then a rush back home for a brew and snack before taking the car, going out to have a burger with the car club tonight as well.

Fun last night with the car club gang, lady told me my hair looked nice. I just said I picked a style to suit my face! The cafe overlooking the lake open just for us to have a meeting, food was good (double burger with bacon and cheese, yum) . Traffic on the motor way was bad through road works so took me 45mins to get there (20 miles) but okay on the way back 30mins. We were all stood on the veranda watching the geese on the lake, 3 birds did a synchronised landing!

Sorted the last 2 lights then a muscle started to go tight in my neck, that was from the effort of using the lazy tongs riveter . Had to hold the one end and push the handle with the other, triceps ?

Neck better this morning just back to its normal nag. Its piddling with rain, I have house work to do and a chicken to cook for dinner. Going to have a wander through my curry cook books to see what I will do. Must be a mud bath at the music festival on the meadow just out of town over the river bridge. Something like 5thousand folks there!!!

Busy on as the local saying goes, bed changed and sheets washed, bedroom dusted (that bad I went over with the hand vac with a small brush end first!) and lunch made. Had salmon left from last nights dinner so flaked that over some couscous with chopped up cucumber, tomatoes and lots of chilli sauce.
 Bangladesh white chicken korma to cook now, its just stopped raining about 12.30 and sun is trying to come out.
