Well I got another duck but its gone in the freezer. Left leg played up now ::) , bags were very heavy to go up the stairs what with the duck, big pack of cubed beef and chicken thighs as well as onions, apples, oats and other packs.Had to go up a few steps and then lift the bags up and then go 2 more steps, okay on the flat just no power to lift that load with bent leg.
 Oh well cooking afty then and when I get some garlic, cross and holy water its brave the sewing machine. Now what did I do with that sharpened stake?

Yes but a very long time ago, think mum and dad got one for Christmas meal. Can be quite greasy. Mum rang, I have got 2 large bags of bird seed can you get them out the car for me? So will call in this morning on the way to the workshop.
  Sewing machine worked!! stabbed myself a few times with the pins, just hope my marker lines are correct so it fits snug.

Had to give up working yesterday as nothing wanted to play ball, I quit while ahead. Back was niggling again as well and this morning its proper playing up so pain killers and rest. Its doing what it normally does and working its way out like its a bruise .
 Taking the opportunity to cook chicken thighs using the "Mums Chicken" recipe from one of my curry books.

Standing up prepping the curry helps but have to be careful bending or stooping as it can spasm. Not doing anything else today just in case.

Take it easy Davina.  Try to rest.  Enjoy the curry.  Ever had spinach in curry?  I read about that, I never had spinach in curry.  Potatoes, carrots, and onions I have had in curry.

Yes classic spinach and Lamb but have also cooked spinach and chicken. Getting better, my friend Deb just called. Her car has broken down and it sounds like the crank pully has separated, had to say sorry cant help as resting my back . Hope she finds some one to move it or get her home.

Weird dream, in a restaurant and mum was taken to a table when her name was called. Waiter dead named me and said you cant come in as your not wearing a tie, then I stood up and turned towards him and he went oh! and I got seated. Like I said weird.
 Mum gave me some folding so off to town to get paint and stuff, will be too late to go down the workshop after but its supposed to be heavy thundery showers this afternoon. Rain over night but it was very needed.

Its when you feel left out because Sephirah didn't comment on your blog (just kidding, love you my dear X)
 Got some stuff , paint, glue and wood strips so I can do a bit today. Called in at mums on way back and she insisted I had some lunch, small bowl of soup/stew ,bit too tomato flavour for me as it was a use up whats in the fridge .  Called in post office to pay some money in and get my car mag, I had put a dress on and she said nice to see you dressed up. Makes a change from my work gear.

Had to order some O rings for the heater joint on the Austin, found some at a Mini spares site. Not going to bore you but I could not open an a/c on line (their system fault) so I rang them, just got a call your card was refused. His fault as he got the numbers wrong, still took him 2 goes to get it to work as well!! Still should be here tomorrow and then I can get the dash back in.
 Just made the duck stuffing correctly and it now cooking, still had a bit over so that will get cooked separate. Driving back from shopping (yes my card worked fine) and what is up with my vision, turns out something on my glasses .Not sure where that came from but it cleaned off okay.

Cooked ducks are sold at some Chinese markets.

I have never cooked, or for that matter, ate any duck.

Well I felt grotty last night like I was tipsy, not right this morning and head still mushy. Good job I stayed home as the O rings came signed for delivery, so not only did the bloke that took my order get my card no wrong but also the parts I ordered. Sorted with a phone call and hopefully the correct bits are coming tomorrow FOC.
 Stripped the duck meat, cooked some veg and did some clothes wash. Having a sit down now.

Another day wasted, I waited for the post as expecting a next day sign for parcel. Gave up and went to show someone my panel van that they did say they would buy, they dropped out as said they had no phone signal to get insurance (true but an excuse I think).

Stood on scales this morning, going the right way so hope I stick to that. 2 more folks messaged me to see if VW still for sale, not holding my breath but not reposting it yet.
  Off down the workshop to see what I can do, back still not right. Have to find some place to put the seats as they are in the way, might end up bringing them home to go in my garage.

I did Chrissy, managed to wash my daily as it was covered in tree sap. Not been washed since ---- so took some scrubbing and its so hot it has dried streaky. Managed to do some stuff on the Austin.
