It has been many a year but I'm still alive and kicking.
I thought that I would just say hello and wish everyone well.

Cindy!!!

I am so glad you're well and it's so good to see you post!... I hope it is a sign we might see you drop in more in the days to come!...

Hugs!

@Cindy
Dear Cindy:
Yes indeed, I am glad that you are still alive and kicking.
I am so very happy to see that you have returned and let all
of us know that you have arrived back on the Forum.
I have lots of fond memories of having worked with you on the site.

Since the January first CRASH two weeks ago, the site is basically
back to what it looked like 3 or 4 years ago.  The staff is working long and
hard to get it up and running smoothly.  What has also been missing that we
are working on is all the the piece by piece improvements and updates over the
last 4 years that were performed on the site before the CRASH....
....long nites, little sleep and busy times for the Forum staff.

If you have not already done so you may wish to go the ANNOUNCEMENTS and find
out what happened and what is happening now on the Forum.
HUGS and more HUGS,
Danielle

Thank you Danielle, I heard about the crash and was concerned for the health and wellbeing of everyone concerned. Susan in particular. These things happen in life but they take a toll and can be very hard to deal with at a personal level. Understanding and compassion from everyone is needed and you never know when good things may arise from what appears total disaster.

What is important is to keep things in perspective. I can assure people from personal experience that losing blogs, past posts and such is really pretty minor in the scheme of life. If people want to worry, pick on something BIG to worry about! It still won't change it of course.

@Cindy
Dear Cindy:
You are so very correct regarding what to pick on when worrying....
.....regarding losing Blogs, Past posts, and Private Messages, those
things are very minor compared to the more important things in our lives.

I view it this way.... the site crash and rebuilding effort gives all of us
a "coveted Reset Button" ...
...how many times in any of our lives have we wished
for a "do-over"
We have been given a time for fresh starts in this area of
our lives here on Susan's Place.

I am wishing you well and I am looking forward to your continued presence
here on Susan's Place and the Forum.

HUGS,
Danielle

There are many more important matters than lost posts, messages, topics, counts, etc.

Focus on them.  Usually, these more important matters are about people.  Many need help, our prayers, and some kindness.

Your time, health, and well being are also very valuable.

@Susan

Hi hon,

I hope you are ok. The past is the past and, as we learn, all we have is the present and hopefully some future.

I'm OK. I won't post publicly about all that has happened but I'm healthy and OK.

I am doing ok just stressing like usual over the site and the finances. I am making things stretch further than most people would understand to be possible. And yes, it was a ton of stress when I realized what happened with the site and the data that we all lost.

On the stuff you don't want to talk about in public, you can send me a private message if you want to share it with me. I am so glad you are back.
