Hi Chrissy

You are being very humble when you say:

Quote from: ChrissyRyan on August 08, 2024, 06:55:47 AMThere are others here that are more helpful than my insignificant posts.  Staff should follow up on all regulars of course.

First and foremost your posts are not insignificant ones, why?  Your posts provide thought provoking questions more so than any other member and by doing so you are helping others, hopefully to understand themselves.  So your contribution are extremely valuable to the community on Susan's.  So please do not think your posts are insignificant, they are definitely are not.

Quote from: ChrissyRyan on August 08, 2024, 06:55:47 AMFor mainstream members, many others, such as O&C and Jess, many more, and staff, would be more missed than I.
This is simply the facts.

I left Susan's over 12 years ago, I do not know if I was missed when I left.  However, Susan's place has survived.  People come and go and this is just the ebb and flow of life.  Yes, there will be members that will be missed, some more so than others.  I know, there are members who were around when I was here the first time and I miss their contributions to Susan's.

You have been here a lot longer than I have and I sure someone is going to say you will be missed so sorely, more so than I.  If you moved on.

Quote from: ChrissyRyan on August 08, 2024, 06:55:47 AMThanks though.  This does not mean I think lowly of myself, I am simply stating what I perceive.

Chrissy

You are being humble, thinking your contributions are not worthy, unfortunately as I have already said.  They are worth more than you think they are.  This is what I know, not perceive.

Take care Chrissy and I wish all your dreams come true.

Love and Hugs

Chrissy, it is not what you post that is significant. It is how you post and that you are regularly posting friendly and uplifting messages. Your motto below your name and the wisdom in your signature line is not just there for decoration, you live it. It is how your personality shines through. You have a gentle manner, you are kind, cheerful, polite, and understanding. Those values are very much needed in today's world. Here at Susan's, we have people who come here feeling down, confused, or upset. They come here looking for support, not necessarily information. And that is where you shine. You never fail to put a smile on my face. Thank you.

Sarah,

Thank you for your thoughts.  Staff have been kind here, they do their work, and I appreciate it.

Non-staff too also, for sure.

I do not do much though, but thanks again.

Chrissy
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

Northern Star Girl

Following up on one of my previous reply comments on this thread regarding
how transgender women can be cruelly scrutinized by some others:
Around town or at my business I always wish to give the appearance of being
conservatively dressed as a respectable woman...
....especially at my CPA accounting and financial advising business where I am
dealing with and meeting with my business and personal clients regarding their
payroll, finances, business ledgers, their investments, and their tax liabilities.

At my office I usually wear a dressy pantsuit, skirt and blouse, or a dress...
... and for footwear at work I will wear comfortable low to mid high heals.

I can't keep up with any of this, lol.

Danielle.. You are stunning. You are the rare kind of person that has a smile which reaches their eyes. You'd be amazed how many people that is not the case for. Every single picture of you I've ever seen... you are in the moment the picture was taken.

That's a testament to you.

Not gonna lie, though, I wish I lived way further north. I love snow. Hate British summers. I would totally give anything to up-sticks and move over there if I could <3

I kind of think people find their own rhythm.

I think we are all secretly hoping that you maybe will sometime show yourself, Chrissy :)

I did it back in the day... and for all you people around then... I apologise, lol. I think we all want to put an image of the forums... I mean if you want to :)
