Finally changed passwords on steam and EA Games, and installed them on new laptop. At the moment Sims 4 is downloading to the laptop. It could get interesting with the laptop having a touch screen. I had been looking for my Sims 3 discs and finally realized I had been looking right at them sitting in a mini crate next to my other chair. Must have had too much on my mind.
Debating on installing Sims 2 onto the laptop. I should be able to find all my backups.

Was doing a lot napping, falling asleep in my chair in front of the computer. I would just lean back, close my eyes and miss the rest of the You Tube video. So much for getting a bunch of projects done.

I installed the Sims 3 onto the laptop, the base game running fine. The expansion discs not so well. apparently, the expansion games did not like the save file from the base game and would crash on startup. I'll check that out later. The Sims 3 doesn't work well without the mouse and I need to swap the mouse between the 2 laptops. The fix worked on the desktop, and I had Doctor Who #11 wandering around.

Nice job Michelle, sounds like you've been working hard.

Maybe it's time to relax and and get some ice cream. 😊🍨

Been seeing 150 pounds on my scale. Figuring my bone size, small frame, it looks like I can safely go down to 140 pounds. My mother would complain that I was too skinny when I weighed more than I do now.
Wondering where I'm loosing my fat from, still have a belly bulge.

Looking at my western style pink plaid shirt. Thinking of changing out the white pearl snaps for pink pearl snaps. Do some tailoring so the waist is flat while I'm wearing it. That would be a future project, I think the sewing machine is more than my weight restriction (10 pounds restricted for 6 weeks.)

It would be nice if I could toss the shirts that have now gotten too big, but it is not likely that I would find a shirt with the same plaid pattern in a smaller size.

Did an oops today. After getting back from shopping I realized I needed to wash clothes. I quickly took my jeans and tossed them into the washer with some other clothes. I found my car remote in the washer after putting the clothes into the dryer.

Found a video on how to replace the battery. Looks like a rubber seal on the battery cover. Looks like no water got on to the board. I'll let it sit overnight with the battery out. I do have 2 key fobs so that's no problem. This one the key doesn't pop out properly.

Dear Michelle:
I have done the same thing with my key fob....
... You did the right thing removing the battery right away.

I hope that it is OK once it dries out real good.
My truck's Key Fob with a special Key is very expensive ...  $239

With electronics, after taking the battery out, let it sit overnight in dry, uncooked rice. The rice will absorb any moisture that gets on the circuit boards. It works for remotes and even cell phones.

Didn't have any rice, but the electronics of my key fob are ok. I do have a problem with the key jamming instead of swinging out properly. I decided to get an empty case and put the electronics into a new case, in the process fixing the issue of the key jamming.

I was starting to get a headache earlier, instead of grabbing some pain killer, I grabbed some pop tarts. Fixed me right up. What the glucose meter had shown me is that I have low blood sugar, that plus a recent operation pushed my weight down to 150 pounds. I never dreamed that I would have to watch my sugar intake to make sure I got enough sugar. I know, it is a hormone imbalance.
Michelle

Michelle_K

Might have messed up with the sugar. According to the videos, I have evidence of insulin resistance. though it seems mild insulin resistance. I just need to continue the way I have with loosing weight. Maybe a little adjustment with my diet.
My local provider has me listed as 22% risk of heart disease, and may decide it is too risky to give me the estrogen. On the other hand, I might be at a greater risk due to how low my testosterone is.

On the laptop, I renamed the Sims 3 folder in documents, and then started the game. Running the game generated a new Sims 3 folder. All I had to do was add folders for custom content. Problem solved. I also found a way to turn off the Microsoft One Drive.

Just had a crazy idea, but I guess it is not my idea. Doctor Who had the fish fingers and pudding. I would call them fish sticks and pudding. The fish should slow down the digestion of the sugar in the pudding.

The bladder stone turned out to be calcium oxalate. The oxalate coming from the spinach, or maybe the cashews. Just wasn't drinking enough water to flush it out of my body when it was smaller.
I guess it goes back to the trauma the happened in the boy's restroom in grade school, affecting my ability to use the men's restroom later in life. That problem was resolved when I started using the women's restroom.
though, I still need to keep track of how much water I drink during the day.

The National Kidney Foundation says:

Eat and drink calcium foods such as milk, yogurt, and some cheese and oxalate-rich foods together during a meal. The oxalate and calcium from the foods are more likely to bind to one another in the stomach and intestines before entering the kidneys. This will make it less likely that kidney stones will form.

Here's the link for the full diet.

I spent about two weeks with a weird pain in my hernia area, that was not there prior to my operation. It would get a bit intense when I would walk, and ease up while sitting. Now that the balloon is out of my bladder, I have a whole lot less pain. The catheter was partially expanded with water to keep it from pulling out. The second thing was my lower back did pop the other day, so the pain possibly was due to pinched nerves.
My lawn needs mowing again, and hopefully I can mow the lawn without being in pain. I haven't been doing my exercises due to the pain, and forgetful me, forgets to mention it to the urologist.

Kind of need to relearn how to pee. Since the bladder was cut open to remove the stone, things feel a bit different. Difficult to judge when my bladder is full. Might have to watch the clock and say it isn't time yet, to stretch out my bladder
I was up every hour, almost on the hour. Go to the bathroom and then back to bed. I think they also want me to drink a glass of water every hour that I am awake.

I've been binge watching insulin resistance /pre diabetes videos. It was interesting to notice that high insulin can cause low testosterone and low HDL. Now wondering if I got dismissed by the doctor deciding my lower testosterone was due to insulin resistance instead of my claim it was due to genetics. No hurry to get me tested for Klinefelter syndrome, or refer me to a specialist.
I see in MyChart that a genetic defect for high cholesterol has been added. Almost a guarantee that I need to take statins. I'm seeing that statins may reduce my testosterone even further.

I sometimes wonder if the lowered testosterone affected the bones in my wrists making the easier to break. Or is it only women that get osteoporosis, so I didn't get flagged for checking bone density, having broken both wrists. Apparently, enough bone density for the screws to hold the plates to the bones.
The flip side is being small framed/small boned. My wrist bones being smaller diameter than average would make them easier to break.

I found it odd that Fairview Hospital added something to my list of allergies, since I have not been there since February. I already had soy in my list of allergies. What they added was a compound that is derived from soy, that actually blocks estrogen.

Hi, Michelle.

Men and women can get osteoporosis. When the body takes in calcium (and other heavy minerals), it stores them in the bones. The body uses calcium for nerve conduction and various cell processes. When the body needs calcium, it pulls it from storage in the bones. So if it is using more than it is taking in, osteoporosis can develop.

It is more common in women because calcium is used for other things (like milk) that men don't normally use it for. Calcium, Vitamin D, and estrogen have a strong relationship. When women enter menopause, their estrogen levels decline, and that affects calcium levels in the bones = osteoporosis.

Likewise, not enough vitamin D in children was responsible for the disease known as Rickets, which causes a softening and weakening of the bones. That is why dairies add vitamin D to milk products.

Getting on and off pain in my left kidney. Another pain that I have been getting for decades. According to my bladder scan that I had on Wednesday, I have a kidney defect that allows urine to back-flow to the kidney. Discovered while using contrast to check my bladder for leaks. Reading what other problems that can cause, I can understand why I was having those problems.
Due to the pain, I decided to allow another day before pushing that lawn mower around my lawn. Then too, the new scar just below my navel is irritating when my clothes press against it, never did have a bandage over it.

My schedule has been all messed up. Prior to my surgery, I was rarely up before 10:00 AM. The past couple of weeks that has changed. I'm now getting up about 6:00 am, which means that I'm getting to bed about 9:00 PM.
The morning doctor appointments didn't help my schedule. It looks like now I have a new sleep schedule.

Getting up 4 hours earlier than I used to has messed up my eating schedule. Instead of having breakfast at 11:00 AM, it has now moved closer to 8:00 AM. I don't know if now I become more normal having lunch at noon. And, it looks like dinner is moved to about 5:30 PM. I think my hunger switch is broken, so I'm not feeling hunger in the normal way. Again that is another symptom of autism, along with the broken thirst switch.

Dear Michelle:
Yes indeed your waking, sleeping, and eating schedule is appearing more "normal" ...
... in fact that is roughly my schedule, so it must be  "normal"  LOL :)
