So I've been wearing eye shadow for a little bit, but I'm having issues with darker colors, since I'm the morning I'll put the eyeshadow on my eyelids (and a lighter color between my lid and brow), and I'll look very feminine that way.  However during the day it'll migrate to under my eyes to where it'll give me that Gene Simmons/KISS look.  I do wear blue light blocking glasses so it's hard for people to see the spread.

Any ideas for how to keep it on my lids?

Do you use a lid primer? I use one from Urban Decay. It helps the colors to pop and to keep it in place.

I was going to suggest a primer too. The problem is oil from your skin. Make sure to clean and dry the skin thoroughly. Then add primer or powder.

You can also use a setting powder to keep it in place, you'll just need to do touchups now and then to keep the oil at bay.

Hope this helps.

No.  I either put it on my bare skin or I put foundation on my lids. And it happens with both.

Powder and primer are designed to absorb the oils. Some foundations may have moisturizer in them, so could be adding oil which is not helpful.

I use setting spray. Seems to work pretty well.
