I think golf must be the most boring game in existence.
Hit the ball, go after it.
Hit the ball, go after it.
Hit the ball, go after it.
Hit the ball, go after it.
Hit the ball into the hole.
Repeat.
The only thing slightly less boring is basketball. Put away your pitchforks. It's just like golf.
Dribble the ball, shoot it at the net.
The other team does the same.
Dribble the ball, shoot it at the net.
The other team does the same.
Dribble the ball, shoot it at the net.
The other team does the same.
Dribble the ball, shoot it at the net.
Repeat until time runs out.
Yawn Fest. There is no competition. The teams just take turns running the ball downcourt to shoot.
Even when Michael Jordan dominated the sport, each team could score over a hundred points - two or three points at a time. It's just a lot of running and that makes me tired.
Football (not soccer) and baseball are ok because it is possible for both teams to work very hard and neither one score. Now that's competition!
