Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

No, I find it incredibly dull. But that's the weird thing. I don't like watching golf, but I have enjoyed golf videogames. Back in my navy days I used to relax to the EA Tiger Woods golf games. It's as slow and dull as cricket is in the UK. Either you're into it, or you're not. But there was something about those games. The 2007 version especially. Because you could make your own golfer with quite incredibly deep customisation, and just play golf, hahaha. Which I know is a weird thing to say. Because sure you could spend thousands on a golf bag and just go do it... but not as a girl. I guess that what did it for me.

I get the appeal of it, but I can't play it physically, and I certainly can't stomach the TV coverage of it. It's like watching a five day test match with less charisma. I have never been someone massively into sports. To watch or be a fan of, at least. But there was something about the videogames that got me. Before DLC and microtransactions became a thing.

There is a BIG, famous, prestigious golf tournament in the UK.  It is now called The Open or the Open Championship, although in America it is often called the British Open.

It is one of the four Grand Slam tournaments.

Few people have won over their careers all four tournaments.

Perhaps being at a tournament would be more interesting to you Sephirah than watching on television.

You're likely right, Chrissy. I have been to a cricket match before. It's not even close to the same thing as seeing it on TV. I get the rules of it, and the whole idea behind it. It's likely very different if you're there at the time.

I can enjoy listening to a cricket but I have never watched a cricket match.

Don't watch a test match. You'll die of old age. :P

So, it appears we have one person who thinks that watching golf on TV is not that interesting.

What say you others?

Would watching golf on TV at least be less, equal, or more interesting than watching paint dry?

I think golf must be the most boring game in existence.

Hit the ball, go after it.
Hit the ball, go after it.
Hit the ball, go after it.
Hit the ball, go after it.
Hit the ball into the hole.
Repeat.

The only thing slightly less boring is basketball. Put away your pitchforks. It's just like golf.
Dribble the ball, shoot it at the net.
The other team does the same.
Dribble the ball, shoot it at the net.
The other team does the same.
Dribble the ball, shoot it at the net.
The other team does the same.
Dribble the ball, shoot it at the net.
Repeat until time runs out.

Yawn Fest. There is no competition. The teams just take turns running the ball downcourt to shoot.

Even when Michael Jordan dominated the sport, each team could score over a hundred points - two or three points at a time. It's just a lot of running and that makes me tired.  ;D

Football (not soccer) and baseball are ok because it is possible for both teams to work very hard and neither one score. Now that's competition!

Uh huh. That's women's rugby. Really freakin' cool. And I'm not just saying that because the England girls stomped Ireland, honest.

Golf was invented  to make cricket  look exciting.  Only been to  2 cricket  matches and it was like  watching paint dry.
There's an awesome  American  rugby players Ilona  Maher who looks like a cross between Floor Jansen and Xena warrior princess!

Okay, anyone like to play chess then?

Chess is an all gender "sport" or activity where no one has to be effectively concerned of anyone having a physical advantage because of their sex.
