As I continue to the beginning of adulthood I begin to realize that life isn't at all what I thought it was. I begin to understand that life is not black and white, but written in shades of grey. The place I've known for my last 17 years is no more. I am no longer a naive child, but a teenager who finally sees the world for what it is. A world that still hates you for your skin tone, accent, identity, and just being who you are. Now I realize I live in a broken world with many broken people.
Lately, Ally(the original) has been with this guy we go to school with. They've been dating for about two months now and they're talking about marriage after highschool. He's an alright guy, but I don't get why she's pushing her person on the rest of us when we haven't even been able to talk to him outside of a school setting.
