Have you had lasting success with any home-based hair removers, such as laser hair removers?
Always stay cheerful, be polite, kind, and understanding. Accepting yourself as the woman you are is very liberating.  Never underestimate the appreciation and respect of authenticity.  Help connect a person to someone that may be able to help that person.  Be brave, be strong.  A TRUE friend is a treasure.  Relationships are very important, people are important, and the sooner we all realize that the better off the world will be.  Try a little kindness.  Be generous with your time, energy, wisdom, and resources.   Inconvenience yourself to help someone.   I am a brown eyed, brown haired woman.

For legs, yes. Arms, sort of. Anywhere else, nope. I have an epilator and two IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) machines. One is a small unit (Ketch Beauty) designed for facial hair, but it does not work on testosterone-type beard growth. The other unit is a salon-quality unit (LuminaRX) that works great on legs, but not on the face (you will burn your skin). The problem is that facial (and pubic) hair roots are deeper, so it takes more energy to travel down the hair and kill the root. Lasers and IPLs need a sharp contrast between skin and hair color. Light colored hair doesn't absorb enough energy. That is why the only FDA-approved method of permanent hair removal is electrolysis.

But for legs and general body hair, they work great. On my arms, the issue was a lack of contrast. My arms are usually tanned from being outside, so dark hair on dark skin doesn't work.

Other people may have a different experience. This was mine.

I have an IPL machine that I've used on my arms and legs and private areas.  It worked very well in all 3 areas---of course I never had that much hair in those 3 places.  And with HRT, the hair has just stopped growing on its own or there might be one or two hairs.

I tried the IPL on my face, and it helped lighten a little bit, but I really needed laser for that.  I'm now at the point where I just have a few black hairs right under the nostrils, and a few white hairs elsewhere and my laser technician has told me to take some tweezers to those hairs and pull because the root is so weak at this point that the hair will be able to be pulled out with tweezers.

(How did I get a Phoenix?!)

Okay.  I only saw on my computer tonight since that sort of stuff doesn't appear on my phone, which is how I mostly access the site.
