walking in heels

I am constantly amazed at the number of adult women who don't know how to walk gracefully in heels. My mother groomed me to be a woman so walking was a larger part of her training. Take shorter steps, walk with feet in line, swing your hips not your shoulders as men. do. It takes practice and mother started me out in 3" heels. But I have a long foot and can now accommodate 4" or taller.

Those heels that you showed in your picture look very nice indeed.
I like to wear heels sometimes at my work and when going out....
        HOWEVER
those are way too high for me... 
Several years ago I broke my ankle slipping on ice and snow... and my ankle
still can be tender to the higher heels.

I like them about 2 to 3 inches or so and/or a wedge heel or a platform shoe.

 I wear heels when eating out and grocery shopping to improve my balance.  Usually 2 or 3 inch wedges or booties.

Dear @Rhonda123, One of my first shoes were a pair of boots with heels and loved them.
I have changed those initial ones, but I have discovered my love for female shoes 🥰👠👢🥰.

I do have a pair like the ones you show and I do love to walk in them. I do not know if it is the heels or what, but they make me walk more femenine,

Although, I have to say that such a small base has given me a couple of twisted ankles and have changed to ones with a bigger base...and still enjoy them.

So, yes, definitely heels whenever possible, except for driving, where I change to a flat pair.

I have a pair of pumps that I have been working at wearing for longer periods of time. I have driven with them for short distances, but prefer flats for longer drives or in the city. I haven't driven a car with a standard in heels, so I'm not sure how I would fare with that. Since I had a lot of past experience driving standards, I suspect I would do OK but would probably find flats more comfortable.

Well Jamie. it takes practice walking as well as driving. Wearing 3 " heels usually does not bother me, in fact it may be more comfortable. I have never driven with 4" heels but then I don't own a car.
