And, in fact, those letters and e-mails serve as a reminder of Craft's reading to the school, via intercom, a poem titled "The New School Prayer," which laments the fact that Christian prayer can't be promoted in schools. They also serve as a reminder that Craft forced the school's Amnesty International chapter to take down a display set up to educate students about abuse of gay, lesbian and transgender people.
