Hoosiers who oppose marriage for gay and lesbian couples have been trying persuade people in the state to rally to their cause, but the proposed amendment banning marriage for gay and lesbian couples will not become a reality this year. The Indiana House will not be holding a hearing on the bill, SJR-7, this year.
