Hi there... I just wanted to ask... afte how long will I be able to see hair reducement  in the body???I haven't started oistrogens yet.... Only Androcure in some dosage over the last 2 minths but the only effect I have seen any result in the hair.... I think hair is a major for problem for the person who can't be in the body they are....Well.. that's strange... but whenever the hari grows again I feel so badly that I go to sleep all day... I don't know why.... I just feel despair... even suicidal sometimes... Ohh and something else... Did u have worries about oistrogen??I Mean any doubts??U know... you feel like this...but you have to fight your own body whith that stuff... I 've heard the hrt is some how "a diagnostic test"... that if you feel fine... after some results... then you are in the right place... And after the surgry... do I have to continue to take hormones e.t.c.???  Kisses to u alll.....

Hi ixt2003,

Actually, I saw my body hair getting lighter within the first month and after the second month it's amost completely gone in places. I know how troublesome and depressing body hair can be. Ever since I started to notice it on like my chest and stomach I've been shaving it. I don't think it's ever gotten past 1/4 of an inch (possibly even less actually.) Just hang in there and it'll eventually go away or become very very light to where you won't need to worry about it. ;)

To your questions about if I've had regrets and is HRT a diagonstic test, first off "HELL NO! I never have or will have any regrets about what I needed to do and be." Secondly "Some poeple see it as a diagnostic test, I guess, personally I don't believe that, I knew what I wanted to do and I knew it would make me happy and it has very... VERY much so." Thirdly "Yes you do have to continue taking estrogen and possibly your progesterone, if you have one, after surgery but they'll more then likely be in really tiny dosages as your not producing Androgens anymore."

I hope that's answered you questions. ;)

Sincerely,
Krista

Actually to tell the honest truth, I don't know. I don't know why my hair went away so easily. That's actually not supposed to really happen for months into HRT, 6 from what my endo told me. I've personaly been shaving that area for about 2 years and it was semi-dark and pretty coarse but it's now pretty light and quite a bit less dark on my chest. I guess it's all in the genes. ;)
