      Tammy Felbaum has pleaded guilty to sending death threats to the Pennsylvania prosecutor who landed her in prison, among others. Felbaum sent Butler County District Attorney B.T. Fullerton a letter used as evidence in which Felbaum writes, "you have to know I'm coming for you...I'm your god and your days are numbered." Threatening letters were also sent to judges involved in her homicide case, of which she was sentenced to 11 years in prison for involuntary manslaughter and practicing medicine without a license. In 2001, Felbaum attempted to castrate her husband through what was reported to be a mutually-agreed to home-surgery. James Felbaum, the sixth husband of Tammy's, didn't survive the crude procedure.

(Butler, Pennsylvania) A transsexual woman in prison for the castration death of her husband has pleaded guilty to threatening the life of the prosecutor who put her there.

Tammy Felbaum, 48, was charged with terroristic threats, assault by a prisoner, aggravated harassment by a prisoner and retaliation against a prosecutor, in connection with letters she allegedly sent to Butler County Assistant District Attorney B.T. Fullerton.

I am particularly distressed by the headline.  "Crazed ->-bleeped-<-" is something I would think to see in a NY Post newspaper.  To see a headline like this makes me wonder how this supposedly LGBT news site views the T portion of our community.  Do they even know any trans people?

I wonder how the authors of this site would react to a headline that contained the words, "Crazed Homo"

What gives us a 'bad name' is exactly what Emeleye says, a 'baiting' headline from a supposedly 'accepting' news forum. WTF would we need the Post for??

Aw, c'mon, f'r chrissake!  I have to put up with being called that word by homophobic fundevangelist breeders.  I have to see transsexuals being sensationalized in internet screeds such as WND and CWFA.  I have to be told by the likes of John Aravosis and Chris Crain that I don't belong with the Gs and Ls, but that they (and Barney Frank) will be back any day real soon now, once they get to get comfy in the promised land of Equal Civil Rights, to up us '->-bleeped-<-' 'little buddies' and takes us, too, to the promised land...

...so could you use a word that doesn't carry a negative, inflammatory  connotation of the TS/TG community when describing the subject of this story.  It (the story) is sensational enough, and needs no further seasoning.  If you want to attract eyeballs, though, I suggest you describe the subject as the 'castration killer' in the headline.
