I'm not sure why fans of the soaps are surprised that you can turn to any of them and see heterosexual carnal rompings every weekday, with nary a condom in sight. The few tentative gay relationships that have been on the small screen are so chaste that you barely know they are sexually involved.

Apparently folks are complaining about the fact that a popular same-sex male couple on As the World Turns is so neutered that gay and gay-supportive fans are fed up.
