Zero

Hi.

The setup of this board is confusing. I'm hoping I get used to it.

I'm.... someone. That is about all I know at the moment. I stuck myself under androgyne when I joined because that is the closest I can come to for an answer. Though I think a better answer would be along the lines of "null".

My name is only an extension of who I am. I am nothing. I am both between the planes of existence and outside. I am everywhere and yet nowhere.

And now I'm here.

Hopefully over time I'll have a better idea of who "this" is.

Well Hi Zero. Welcome to Susan's. Please read the site rules and regs then join in or browse as you need. We're mostly friendly and definitely opinionated but we don't bite and are bound to find answers to at least some of your questions. Enjoy your stay.

That's kind of heavy.  Welcome!

Any significance to 48?

Hi and welcome Zero,

You sound very deep and into philosophy so you should feel at home here.  ;)

I think I am nothing sometimes but mainly because others make me feel like that!  :(

cheers

Not that I'm aware of, sorry.

Not very, but don't be surprised if I start posting in riddle or metaphor that no one else seems to understand :P That is exceedingly common with me.

Hi Buttercup
QuoteI think I am nothing sometimes but mainly because others make me feel like that!  Sad

Oh wow, how that brought some memories which brought some tears. I just spent to many years alone and being shunned by society, which is, I have found to be mostly populated by neuts. "Null!" oh no, no, the problem was that I was thought by the neuts to be a no body, but this was because that was what I wanted the outside world to think of me at the time. I didn't want to deal with the outside world, I didn't fit in. In reality I knew I was different.

Hi Zero, welcome to Susan's. I do pray that you will find the answers to the many questions you may wish to ask. Don't be shy and ask the kids here, they don't bite, well just the ankles.

Hi Zero,

     Welcome.
I've been entirely lost before and found my way, so I'm sure you can too.

There's a lot here on the site.  You should find yourself feeling welcomed.

QuoteBinary codes are normally 8 digits long which make up a code that computer technology can identify. This code represents a letter, number, or symbol, it can also represent a pixel in an image file or a 1/10th of a second in a sound. Anything that is displayed, stored, or read by a computer must be converted into binary before traveling to the processor.
There are infinite possibilities for a zero. You could say that our lives could be written in binary code. Ourselves the zeros and the events/information/world the ones. Ourselves, ones, and other zeros around us are creating the code that is our lives.

All we can do is try to understand bits of the code that make up this world around us and our place in it. If you haven't found that place or are in the wrong one; write new code!

Welcome to Susan's, Zero.

It's a curious name you chose, all and nothing, everywhere and nowhere.  It sure beats the concept of Zero as a placeholder.

Enjoy, converse and feel comfortable here.

Maybe it was the 306 confrabulator that connects with the crolio tubes that is super cooled with gel pack 396.k 1000 spark plugs that turn over the class 66E Vecto drive accessory engines to the the main warp drive engines. If every thing starts up synchronously then the The coffee machine will turn on to brew a fresh pot of freshly picked Beatleguisian coffee. "hee, hee, hee." just messin around.

00110000 (base 2) = 48 (base 10), so was just curious to the subject heading.
