I was in my email this morning when I cam across this link........



If women ruled the world, everything would change, according to former White House press secretary Dee Dee Myers. Politics would be more collegial. Businesses would be more productive. And communities would be healthier. Empowering women would make the world a better place. Depends. As long as women insist on behaving in ways historically prescribed for males, I think what you'll find is more of the same. In fact it could even get worse. If guys have a 'wussy' problem imagine the pressure on a woman.

Look at the one running right now: when she's tough she's a witch. When she's soft she gets made fun of.

Yeah. Female isn't always better. Anybody remember dear Maggie Thatcher?

If women were to run the world as women though instead of trying to behave in the way that Nichole describes, then yeah, the world would be a better place, for the simple reason that a woman with children is going to be less likely to not think past the next election or accounting year. One would hope, anyway.

Longer term thinking and an appreciation of consequences is what's lacking in our male-dominated society.

I don't necessarily agree with that statement.  I think it should be rather "Only Good People Should Rule the World", but as far as I know, they don't want the job.
