First....we all know there are effects..but that's not entirely what I am going to ask here.
I want to hear from people who have taken one type of estrogen for their HRT verses people who have taken other types of estrogen.
My thoughts were formulated when I posted that this time (my second series of HRT) I am not having the mind-change more to female and very emotional with Progynova that I experienced with Premarin.
Premarin made me very emotional...I was taking a prescribed dosage, but I think Premarin is more mind-altering that Progynova.
Progynova isn't anywhere near as mind altering as the former. I am not jagging about in near tears at sensitive movies or poems or seeing sick puppies (etc) like I did with the first E of choice.
Any thoughts?
I am not really interested in the glee and giddiness or euphoria of finally doing something about a person's GID, but the thinking processes involved. We are all happy that things are progressing toward our own personal goals, whatever they might be...but I want a little more lab coat thinking here.
Another sidebar here: I think Premarin held my sexual appetite more in check than Progynova does. Admittedly I am older now..but I was not as ...er...horney with the Premarin as the Progynova.
Progynova: Sex = YEAH!, Mental changes = None noticed
Premarin: Sex = Ho Hum!, Mental Changes = Sobbing and tears all the time.
