Ok im just wondering cause i dunno if im hopeful lol.
Or could it just be higher T levels than an avarage bio female?
My voice broke at thirteen, and was relitively deep any way.
Erm, my hands are quite big, i have size 8 feet in mens.
I dont have hips, i have a hairy stomach. Well, fluff thats turning into hair.
An adams apple and tiny side burns developing. And my periods *cringe* are iregular and i suffer (physically not just mentally) with them. Wont go into details how.
But im even built like a guy just starting puberty, not that im complaining! lol.
Just curious =]

Might be, might not... but then, you are having periods... so somethings working down there... weather you want it to or not... hormonal imbalances can explain the rest of the things you described, but weather thats intersex or not? not sure, there are many different imbalances that occur without a chromasonal explanation... Only way to find out is see a doc... but then, a 'bio female' with body hair issues, deeper voice, and sideburns isnt that uncommon....
hell i have a friend who just gave birth who has to shave her face daily... she has shaddow... and she gave birth.... heavily suggesting not is.... hormones are daft things. You my friend, apear lucky!

What Rach said. Probably a hormonal imbalance. Meaning you're chemically more guy than most genetic females.

Thats quite good, spose i can live with being short.
And Rachel, one of my ex gfs was about 6ft XD

could be polycystic ovaries... although you're skinny.  but the voice breaking and the adam's apple make me think otherwise.

you should get your T levels checked if you've got a doc.

mr_marc

Might do...cause its cool but my friend hates me for it so its made me curious XD

Well I am 5'9" shaped like a guy.. got body hair, large hands, no hips, size 9 feet, periods *shudders* fine..

I just think that its all down to your build and gentics.

Hmmmmm I didn't even make it as a credible boy child. I was twenty five before I even had a beard starting to grow. "Yaya" I was at last passable to get into the bars without proof of age. Finally I started to look more credible at being a guy, well according to how the exterior of my body presented as.

My size didn't help any, I never grew up past 5' 3"  at 115 lbs which I hated it at the time. Now my size is quite appropriate to my new gender. I am happy with the result of HRT transforming the new exterior appearance of my body. Now I finally gain weight 125lbs but the downside is I have a dumb paunch. Well I have begun to walk a couple miles everyday in the hopes the exercise will shrink this paunch some.

umm There are hormonal intersexed disorders and you can be hormonally intersexed. Go to an endocrinologist and have the full hormone panel and see what is there. An endo can assess hormonal intersexed disorders. I got checked for all forms of intersexed disorder and turns out I am just an ordinary transman and any reputable gender program will include tests to ensure you TS feelings isn't accounted for by another condition like being intersexed.

This site explains things really well. It is good for an all around read. http://www2.hu-berlin.de/sexology/ECE1/index.htm

However what I was referring to can be found here. http://www2.hu-berlin.de/sexology/ECE1/hormonal_sex.htm

Sorry but I am too tired, to post much more.

The Organisation Intersex International now has a Science and Health Resources Department which will have a whole course in modules for both health professionals and the general public.  It will present sex and gender issues in a scientific manner, while trying to avoid sexist and political agendas which view any body or gender which is not typical as pathological.

For information about hormonal conditions, you can write directly to the physician on OII's board.  OII does NOT offer any diagnostic or referral services.  However questions about topics and issues will be answered as time permits.  The address is posted on the following page.

I am trying to figure it out. My current endo was of no use; kept on ordering
lab work, I have 3 different sex hormones lab results which are irregualr, and yet
she orders another one in 3 months  ???
luckily, I am meeting top notch endo in a few weeks and hope she will be able to help

My voice broke at 13, too, but my T is normal.

If you had extra T, you'd know, and your doctor would tell you. You wouldn't be having a normal period... well, you did say they aren't regular...

The only way to be certain is to ask your doctor. There's no way you could really know because your symptoms are quite subtle. Having extra T in your system will make HRT complicated if that's the case... or rather, you'll have to have dose adjustments periodically.

It is more then amount it also has to do with how binds to and severs from SHBG and how sensitive or insensitive to androgens a person's body is and how they metabolize it. For instance I am less sensitive then other I have known. I also tend to convert to estrodial instead of DHT. This is why we all have different levels and it is very hard to determine how much a person needs without a realistic and honest evaluation of effects of HRT and lab work. You can't just order total and free T tests and think that is enough. You need to understand how the body metabolizes hormones and that is hard for a top notch endo much less a random endo who thinks it is fine to suffer from things that could be different. I am really lucky to have an endo who cares about getting things right not just sufficient but I saw 4 others throughout my transition before I found him.  Good luck at the endo Mari. Hopefully they can help you work this out. You also wouldn't be the first FTM who had androgenic effects before HRT. The ovaries produce testosterone and for some that is enough.

Thanks for the link Curtis, I knew there was other info out there. I will read it when I am not so busy.
