Well. I just had my bottom surgery 6 days ago by Dr Alter in Beverly Hills, thanks to my good fourtune of being picked to be on Dr 90210 this new season coming up. That was the only way I was able to afford the surgery. It cost me EXACTLY what my tax return was. Ironic? Or just fate. The last few weeks have been a bit exusting with filming here at home, they filmed mine and Pam's wedding in Vegas, and ofcourse they filmed the surgery, and we arre still not done filming. And as most of you know after all this filming, most of it ends up on the editing floor. But that is Hollywood. It will be the 6th episode of 8 of the new season I am told so far, and is the "A" story, meaning the longest segment of the 3 they have per episoide, and will air sometime this summer.
Now, on the surgery. It took 4.5 hours, and 2 hours for them to wake me. I woke to nurses and the film crew in their scrubs and all telling me it was 6:30 in the evening. I did not believe them and I felt drunk. The sound girl took the clock off the wall to show me the time. What was 6.5 hours felt like 5 minutes.
I had a cathater in for almost 5 days. That is pain. Very bad. I got it out yesterday when he removed the bandages(yes, my pain is on camera!) When he unwraped my penis it felt as if he was cutting it. It is just ultra sensitive. No touching for 6 weeks. It will take that time for all swelling to go down and he said 4 to 6 months for my testicles to hang more with the stretching of skin.
Gary Alter has the best bedside manner I have ever witnessed. He is a great guy, plus he is friends with my hormone guy and the woman who was my theripist through all of this.
So at this moment I feel I have come to the end of a very long journey, yet another new chapter in my life. I want to say thank you to those of you who are still here that were there for me when I first came here 2 years ago. Steph and Dennis you both, I remember were very helpful to me at that time, and know you continue to be for so many others. I will still be off work a few morre weeks, so I will be around awhile.
