Thats really rough... Have you asked her if she has reasons of why she's a little unwilling to accept 100%?

She made her decision about you when you were born and she has seen you as her little boy all these years, it's going to take time
for her to switch her thinking as see you as a girl in my opinion. But I bet she comes around... maybe you just need to give her
time.

Could be she doesn't want to admit to herself that she made the wrong decision back then. She might also feel that she's responsible for putting you in your situation, and that's a bit hard for her to cope with.

Do you blame her for doing what she did?

I wouldn't be so hard on your mother, she was only doing what she thought was right. Afterall, the doctors were all telling her what she should do and they didn't know. It was a 50/50 shot and they missed. Just be patient with you mom and try to educate her. She is probably on a real bad guilt trip and doesn't know what to do. All the doctors told her that if you raise you baby to be a boy or girl, that's what they will be. We all know different now and so do a lot of doctors, not all. So, don't blame her.
