This is the opinion of Mike Ma, the co-ordinator of the Community and Race Relations Committee.
To live in Peterborough isn't much different, he says, adding acts of racism, discrimination and hate happen more often than people think.
"The areas of racial crime encircle Peterborough," he says.
"I would say racism or racial incidences is quite high."
