you prepared to learn all about tea and coffee for a job you are in for 3 months that pays you less then your rent, has no opportunity for advancement and in a company on the verge (now in) administration?

As usual I picked up information, 'cos I am a sponge like that and after a month could answer questions the manager couldn't. But I wasn't going to make a special effort.

I am male

I hate that a lot of females dislike guys because of stereotypes and apply those stereotypes to guys that do not fit them...or make generalizations based upon those stereotypes.

I like women because they are women. In fact, I love women. Women are amazing people. They're smart, nurturing, they smell good (even when they're sweaty), they have beautiful bodies, they're soft, they're good problem solvers, they tend to be better teachers (in my experience)...mmm women, the world would be so dry and boring without them.

I do my best to be a friend to everyone male or female. Even if most of them are a pain in the @$$. Both have good and bad qualities and so do I. I just happen to have several qualities of both.  >:-)
The main things to remember in life are Love, Kindness, Understanding and Respect - Always make forward progress

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

I am a Mr., not a Miss, as indicated by my username.  Everything that follows is a generalization that does not always apply

Likes: Usually more apt to be empathetic and express their feelings, they will take things seriously, more mature, better fashion sense and hair, all around better and more intelligent than most men; most of these things apply to me too, so as said above, not necessarily woman things

Dislikes: More eager to please with lower self-esteem, do too much of the work (fulltime job and take care of the kids and cook the meals and do the chores; how about you get Mr. Lazy to pick up some of the slack?), internalized sexism (she works and she has kids?  What a bad mother!; actually, this category pretty much summarizes all my other complaints; the girls I know without this problem are even awesomer than those with it), judgemental about other women's clothing and sex choices ("She should cover herself up" "That slut deserves to be pregnant with an STD"), love of "chivalry"

Dang, that list of dislikes looks longer, but it's really because I used examples.  Altogether, I prefer women to men (although not sexually).

Male

What like about some women
*Gentle
*Kind
*mature (some anyways)
*Strong willed

What dislike about some Women
*Prissy
*Materialistic
*Think can get away with things
*Fuss to much
Every day we pass people, do we see them or the mask they wear?
If you live under a mask long enough, does it eventually break or wear down?  Does it become part you?  Maybe alone, they are truly themselves?  Or maybe they have forgotten or buried themselves so long, they forget they are not a mask?

Female

Dislike: That they wear their male privilege like a crown, and expect to be served.
Like: That they feel attracted, but wait for a sign.

I just don't like gender stereotypes. I honestly made of list of things I  don't like about women, but I realized I was just thinking of a modern cheeleader-ish archetype but was able to find these same traits in men, just expressed with different language, clothing, gesticulations, etc.

Edit:

Fine! I think most typically girly music sucks.

Well... I tend to take people on their own merits, male or female.

But, I guess at a push, I would say that guys have a more straightforward, direct way of thinking, and I both like and dislike that for different reasons.

Above all... remember: you are beautiful, you are valuable, and you have a shining spark of magnificence within you. Don't let anyone take that from you. Embrace who you are. <3

I concur (well, maybe not on the edit; I do listen to Prince)

What I like about men:

The way some (!) play football (soccer).

They can be very funny.

That's about it ;)

I'm a crossdressing male so let me think about this. Females: Likes: Frienship, most girl things. Dislikes: Shopping for hours to only but one or two items. Men: Likes: Beer drinking and fishing partners. Dislikes: Machismo attitudes,
and talking about football for hours or days.

Women, well I love being a woman for the many different qualities that I have come to embrace through the years and could not be pried from my cold, dead withered fingers.

Men, or women I get along well with both, I get along with anyone, including their pets.

Im a woman
I like men who are still chivalrous, gentle, understanding, listen and know how to treat a girl.
I dislike men who are rude and dismissive of ''women likes'' shopping etc.
Don't mention bathroom habits ugh!

What I dislike most about men is they are too LOUD. The whole blessed world doesn't need to hear what sandwich you are ordering or what game you watched last night.

What I do like is they can fix stuff and i can't. (I know I know, that's not stirictly a gender thing, but still, men are better fixers for the most part, yes?)

Hi Stealthgrrl you are quite right, I can't fix some things like I use to, I think it's what is called a difference in muscle mass. I can still fix little things but I prefer to tinker with stuff more then fix, that's called attention span.

Yea don't care for listening to all that sports stuff, never did. At least among women it is just a short discussion, unless it's about the hunks that play the sports.  :D

Yea I agree with the bathroom stuff Pretty Pauline. Unless you are talking about public washrooms, "yuk!" sometimes I'm afraid I am going to catch some kind of disease just opening a stall door in the ladies room.

Well I do have my sweety but there are times I day dream about a chivalrous gentleman like you describe. Wing Walker knows that but she knows it's just a fantasy like I want to be Little Mermaid, or Tinkerbell.  ;D

Male, but I want to do more than one.  And I will say that the qualities I like and dislike will not be found in every person of that category, it's what I look for/don't look for in a person I would be friends (or more) with.

Females
Likes: They way they smell (as long as it's not heavy perfume, ew), empathy, curves, legs, strength of personality, when they stand up for themselves it's amazing, when they aren't afraid to like "typically male things", often are caretakers, the way they dance, more accepting
Dislikes: Not standing up for themselves, PMS (but I feel sorry for them as I've been through it), when they don't use their brains even though they have good ones because they think some men find it attractive, MIND GAMES, materialistic, too much make up, when they still think of me as female in my relationships with them (happens in the lesbian community)

Males
Likes: Shoulders, chests, nerdy hobbies, aren't afraid of bodily functions, they smell good (as long as they're using deodorant and not over using cologne), often have surprising aspects about their personality hidden somewhere that you have to delve for, toned muscles
Dislikes: when they're aware of male privilege and aren't using it to help an oppressed group, jackassery, when they abuse others (not just women!), can't think about more than one thing at a time, late to mature, shallow, aren't as accepting of me even though I want to be a part of their activities and fit in with them

Androgynes:
Likes: Quirky, not afraid to "break the rules", when they dress androgynously it's pretty hot, often nerdy, often have complex views on life, the universe and everything, intriguing in general
Dislikes: Haven't found any yet because I meet so few of them.

THIS WAS WAY HARDER THAN I ANTICIPATED.

Male.

What I like about females: They are soft, fragile looking, emotional, most of them are romantic, Maternal, Sensitive, Basically they make me want to protect them and comfort them.

What I dislike about females: They confuse me to no end and always make me think "Does she like me or not?" They love revenge, you know what they are just plain right down confusing. lol.
Push it baby, push it baby, out of control, I got my gun cocked tight and I'm ready to blow. ;)
