i gave myself a hair cut last night and was sat trying to stick the wet pieces of hair to my chin. Skin glue came to mind and i thought i'd got a pretty good idea.

A member on here suggested it and I tried it but it does take a long time to perfect yes it looks good from afar but my partner said that she just wanted to rub it off my face..

Because of the high oil content in human hair it does not want to be glued.  Go to a theater store and they have stuff that looks perfect, and will hold.
FIGHT APATHY!, or don't...

The theater items you have to be careful with.  Stupple is used in theater and at a distance looks great, especially if you use a stupple sponge to blot it on.  I used it once for a DL photo (and managed to get an M for gender, wish it had of lasted).   If you use spirit gum and crepe hair it's really hard to make  it look good without a lot of practice and making sure you iron out the crepe hair.   Up close you can tell both are fake.

On the flip side of this, there are theater places who sell facial hair pieces made of real hair and you use spirit gum to adhere them to your face.  I have never personally tried on or know how well they work.  I used to do a lot of behind the scenes work in theater when I was young and wish we had of had a need for the facial hair so I could see how it worked.  I think we did once, but the director used the cheap stuff since we were on a budget.  Cheap as in halloween type facial hair.

As I recall, Norah Vincent had a bit in her book, Self Made Man (not to be confused with Henry Ruben's Self Made Men) in which she described how she created a passable 5 o'clock shadow for her social experiment.  (She went "undercover" as a man to see what they are like and what they do when the gals aren't around.)  Might be worth checking out at the library, anyway.

It might seem like a good idea but trust me it will lead to more questions then if you make sure to shave your peach fuzz. I have never seen passable fake hair but feel free to try if you want, you might suceed.
