"Two legislators, both of whom represent parts of Broward and Palm
Beach counties, have introduced measures that would prohibit
discrimination in employment, housing and public accommodations based
on sexual orientation. A major difference is whether to cover gender
identity and expression, to protect transgender people. Existing law
bans discrimination on the grounds of race, religion, sex, national
origin, age, disability and marital status."
