Hey,
I need some advice on this one. I have an almost 11 year old daughter who is going into 6th grade, but is about 2 yraes behind because that is the best she can do. Even socially she is about 2 to 3 years behind other kids her age. She like to play with kids younger than her, and she just still seems "younger" than 11. She has been tested year after year since the first grade and all they have to tell me is she has a processing problem and a comprehension problem. anyway the point is, is she need more help that she will never get, so she need to be monitered all the time with homework and such so I want her to live with me and Pam during the week and with her dad on the weekends. I'm sure he will agree to this since we both know she will only continue to fall further behind without constant supervision. The thing is can I register her in a new school, because I don't live where my kids live, but do this as her father? My last name is Santucci, Pam's last name is Reed,(for now) and Jennifer's(my daughter) last name is Davis. (my ex) I can't remember if I will have to show ID of my own, or what? I pass as a guy now and do not want to go in to a new place having to tell them I am her mother. Pam is more than willing to pose as that when needed. I just feel I need to have Jenny with me most of the time when school starts back for the new school year. Also she is atleast 30 lbs over weight and evrything we tried in the past works for a few pounds then she just gains it back and then some. That also needs to be monitered and delt with. I can fix that as long as she is with me 5 days a week.
Any thoughts are appreciated. Marco
