Gays still face much bias in society

http://www.azstarnet.com/allheadlines/235738Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning students in Tucson have considerable resources and visibility, such as gay-straight alliances in high schools, a youth drop-in center called Eon, and social and support groups at the University of Arizona.
In fact, contemporary students have so many resources that even older members of the gay community may perceive that to be young and gay now is easy and fun. Some gay elders look at students and dismissively say, "You have it so much better than I did."
