I've never used any type colorful language, ever... except the word bitch. I
guess over time I've gotten numb to it and I'm no longer affected by
it. I'm amazed how many young kids use the F word in normal conversation
and I wince everytime I hear it. So I understand completely how one

I knew you were joking, and kinda thought everybody knew I was, but one has to keep in mind that some people in our community have been through very nasty experiences, and consequently find it hard to trust. Won't stop me from (trying to be) funny and witty (or is that witless?) but I will take more care in future.

LOL Noeleena, we like a good laugh here, it relieves the ordeal of transition. No, it's definitely not a "sick joke" and I think the Bible doesn't hold much love for trans people anyway to bear any judgment here.

FWIW, I took the first post as being possibly serious. The "lumberjack" and satan stuff just seemed like "hah, you're all so gullible, you'd even believe this!" making fun of everyone.

The post caught me at a vulnerable moment when my Humour Mode was offline... and other people I knew were saying things that just seemed SO out of character and weird to me... and being disillusioned by a number of things I'd been reading... that I didn't really feel I knew what was going on with anyone anymore.
