Ohio University prides itself on its acceptance of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community; however, homophobia is still a prevalent problem on this campus. This is true with closet homophobia: people who will state that they support the LGBT community in public but show their true colors when a situation like Mr. Uihlein's arises.
