Attending the Empire State Pride Agenda rally in Albany on April 29, we felt not unlike the Cornell University ornithologists looking for the rare ivory-billed woodpecker when it came to State Sen. James Seward, R-51st Dist.

Having attended three rallies now, the elusive senator seems extinct when it comes to his gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender constituents. He may seem extinct by his absence, but he is not. His voting record against our issues is legendary.
