Chest smaller without a binder?

Hi all. It's my first topic to post here but it was the first question to ask that came to mind..I haven't posted this question anywhere else. I'm FTM but I'm not planning on getting any operation any time soon (if ever) but I would still like to make my chest look smaller somehow because my breasts are "very visable" and that's what lets everyone know I'm a girl even when I try to pass as a guy. My parents wouldn't like knowing I'm transgender and my mom couldn't understand why I always tried hiding my chest and I just kept saying "I don't like them and I don't want anyone to see them" or something along those lines. I would like to get some kind of binder or bra to be able to make me look even slightly smaller but if my parents found out I was gonna get a binder I'd probably be doomed. I'm just wondering, if a binder is out of using, is it possible I could find something else that could make me not look so "big"? I heard tight sports bras work and that's mostly what I use but I don't think they're tight enough because my chest is still visable for the most part. Any suggestions er..opinions? Sorry if something like this has been posted before I thought I'd ask though..

Check out these threads: Making One's Chest More Masculine and Binders, which has a lot of info on different types of binders, some of which can be made using wraps and stuff that isn't necessarily a binder by name so you might be able to obtain one of those without having to let anyone else know.

Welcome, Godot.  Thank God you're finally here;  We've been waiting for ages! *Laughs at his own bad pun*  ;D

Here's a great link that you might find useful for a variety of info:http://www.ftmguide.org/

There's a link to the binding section about 2/3 of the way down the center column.

If you have a way to order the underworks binders, either the tri top or the ones that look like tank tops, your parents wouldn't know they're 'binders'.  The tri top kind of looks like a sports bra only a bit longer, and the others look like a tank.  I doubt they could tell they're compression though unless they touched them.  They're in the $30 range.  Another option that wouldn't be conspicuous as a binder are the back support belts.  Unless your parents saw it being used as a 'bra' they wouldn't really notice it in your room and if they did well, it's back support!  A Frog Bra might work also (I don't have one, I do have both types of underworks binders as well as a back support one.

I'm gonna have to look aroudn for those....I wish local stores sold them because it would make it easier for me to buy instead of having to order them. Sorry I had posted about this because there was two other binder topics already posted but I didn't read them because I thought they were about which binders to buy and stuff....sry.. :(
