"As for the 12-year-old in question, I can believe that she is transgender. The question for me is how young is too young to start hormone treatment? You need to be 100 per cent sure that it is the right move before beginning such a serious course of action. If the father's family is raising doubts then maybe she could be checked my more independent experts first."
