"Looking through the notes online about the Portland Queer Documentary Film Festival, I was surprised to learn that it is the only festival of its kind currently in the United States and only the second held the world over. Although its a genre that seems rich with material, it makes sense, since many docs are usually threaded into the schedule of a larger film festival that includes fiction and short subjects."
