One of the main problems I have of being trans is trying to pass as a male or male-ish person and I think the one thing that gets in the way of that is my hair length. I have really long hair (to the middle of my back) and it's hard to find a hairstyle that could fall in the "unisex" category without having to cut my hair. I feel selfish for even making a topic on something so silly (it gets more silly the further I go) but....does anyone know of any hairstyles that could go for long hair (at least shouldar length or longer)? I'm currently going for this hair style http://i153.photobucket.com/albums/s229/Aangfish/Ace%20Attorney/Apollo%20Justice/klaviersobjection.png But I have no idea as to what to do to get that style. I really wanna get that hairstyle but I don't know really how to get it (I've seen pics of cosplayers have this same hairstyle very well but I dunno how they do it) dunno how much gel to use, what hair pins to use or anything. I'm really sorry I know I must sound immature ::) but I'm just trying real hard to keep from looking femenine with my goth look. Any..opinions or...anythin to say? Sry if I took up more..post space with somethin silly *sweatdrop*

It seems that IRL that style is going to come out as one of those really really layers scene haircuts.

Trying to keep really long hair, and still appear masculine, is tough if you don't have other masculine features to set it off.  I know a guy who has beautiful hair that comes down to his hips.  But, he's also 6'5" and has a beard.

Honestly, I think you will have more luck passing if you go with something very layered that is only about collar length, like one of these, for example:

Either that, or you can say, "Sod it, I'm keeping the hair!" and accept that it's going to take hormones to make you look masculine.  Of course, a lot of it also depends on the shape of your particular face.  Sorry I can't give you better advice.
