ANTI Transgender Bill in Maryland

of their non-discrimination law, which bans discrimination on the basis
of gender identity in housing, employment, public accommodations, and
taxi and cable service.
Since then, right wing extremists --

have successfully qualified a ballot measure to repeal the law. It will be
placed before voters in November.
This is the Nation's first anti-transgender ballot measure and will have
national implications for trans equality everywhere and all of us!!
As Congress is considering ENDA, the results of a trans-specific ballot-measure in their backyard
could have far-reaching consequences. The results of this vote could open a Pandora's box of anti-trans ballot measures across the country.
All transgenderpersons everywhere should do as much as they can--NOW!
