"My friend Cala pointed me to Ashley's blog way back when I was first figuring things out. I can't remember when that was exactly, but it was probably in summer of last year. I read several months' worth of her blog and found it inspiring. Our stories weren't the same (they never are), but I understood many of the experiences she described. I was still questioning, but she had already figured out where she was going."
