Mine is the Daredevil soundtrack. There are a ton of good groups on there (The Calling, Fuel, Evanescence, Finger Eleven, 12 Stones, Revis, and Seether to name a few)

Probably Resident Evil: Apocalypse. (The Second Film) It introduced me to SO many new genres and groups, from Metalcore through to Gothic Metal and everything inbetween.

I've got a couple...

"XXX" ....... For a barage of great tracks, but paricularly fot the amazing "Technologicque Park" by Orbital (this is the only place they have released this track)

"Spiderman 2" ~ Again a truly  amazing collection of great tracks and bands


Best Movie Theme however is the "Love" theme from "The Mummy" .... Mind nummingly beautiful...Ahh


...and hey Caleybug .. I love the Daredevil soundtrack too (and the movie) .. I went straight out and ordered a load of "Fuel" albums from Australia, as only one was released in the UK!...


....OK..OK my musical taste is all mixed up...and I'm too old to like this stuff.. but I do...


..Now where was that Burt Bacharach Album...OOps!

I have several.

The first is Hatari.  It was a film released when I was a child so it was a real find a few years ago. The score was by Henry Mancini and is brilliant.

The second most fav is West Side Story.  It is a marvelous fusion of modern jazz into what was then pretty mundane musicals.  Written by Bernstein.  I got to play cello for a pit crew for a local presentation of this musical a few years ago.

Others follow:

Blade Runner by... oh I can't remember his single word name... oh  it was Vangelis.  It was a perfect match for the film.  Brilliant scoring with heavy synth.  Very bold in the time it was released.

Anything by John Williams.  The man is the leading master of scoring classical works for modern films. There is nothing he's written that doesn't have a soaring theme that makes me want to cry.  I saw ET last night in HD and the music truly brought tears to my eyes.

And lastly... who'd figure... The Simpsons Movie.  What a marvelous upbeat score!  They built on the already famous TV intro into something quite remarkable.

Oh... Heavy Metal must make the list.  I never saw it until my hubby introduced me to it.  Yes the music is old but.... it is a wonderful reminder of all the good things of my transitional days.

Other than that I dig "Hard Day's Night" and "Man From LaMancha".

monsters - jon hopkins.  seriously underrated movie, fantastic music. 
various pieces by hans zimmer, particularly prince of egypt.
tron 2 - daft punk.
ghost in the shell - kenji kawai.  making of cyborg, ohhh man.  orgasmic. 

i love movie music with a passion, so i could list soundtracks forever.... they're not necessarily in my favourite movies list, either.  i often enjoy movie scores separately from the movies.
