I will be having my FFS on August 26th with Dr Zukowski. I must say I am a bit nervous.

I will be having :

Feminizing biplaner variant endoscopic browlift with orbital rim burring/scalp advancement and temporal fat grafting.

Chin bone burring with soft tissue reshaping and a minimal scar variant neck and jaw lift

Jaw angle bone reduction

Fat grafting to the lips

And the adam's apple shave.

Does that sound like too much work to be done?  I know my face isn't completely feminine, however, it still sounds like a lot of work to be done. @_@

That depends very much on your age and physical condition.

Dr. Zukowski's reputation he is quite good. if you follow his advice you should do well.

FYI Many people have done much more than that during one operation.

Hey Caley,
I basically had the same thing done, a little more extensive work on the forehead and chin, but it won't be as bad as you think probably. The experience will most likely be similar. Mine was three weeks ago tmrw with Dr. O, as you can see from my avatar, the brusing and jaundice are gone. I still have dark circles under and above my eyes, my forehead is still raised, I am still swollen in the chin and jaw area. I can tell you that the first 5-7 days after surgery, while painful and very real while I was living it, feel like about 3 years ago now. They will pump you full of some good drugs so don't worry about the pain. It hurts at the time, but you probably won't remember it.

The drawbacks...I am having frequent headaches, I'm tired all the time and I can't get electrolysis for 3 months. I was ready to go full time after ffs but I'm going to let my face settle down a little bit first. Give yourself time to recoup, I have a hard time doing that :) Meghan

I also had open revision Septorhinoplasty and bilateral otoplasty as well as what Caleybug lists above.

I was in surgery 10 1/2 hours.

As Meghan states electrolysis afterwards is an issue, as there is a risk of infection (I had finished Electrolysis before FFS).

For me numbness was an issue on my scalp line and bottom lip, 8 years later aI still have numbness in my bottom lip, a risk faced with FFS due to potential damage to nerves.

Wow Megan you look so diffferent and in a really good way, Dr O well what can you say. i just wish i could afford him.

Im meeting Dr Z in london in september for a 1st consultation,
the amount your having done is quite normal from what i read Caley on the ffs groups so i wouldnt worry. Just keep up your fitness levels as you should for any surgery and stop any smoking. I really wish you the best of luck and stay intouch with your results im sure alot of us would love to know how you got on.

My only concern for my own work about Dr Z is forehead work, T hasnt been kind to mine so im still unsure what endoscopic planing can achieve compared to the reconstruction Dr O does. I just dont want to end up paying twice but im confident i can still get great results.
