Chokers and Collars

I have a small collar that a friend of mine made and I wear it every so often, usually when the colours match the outfit.  I have also found that this type of accessory can cover the adam's apple and is widespread enough in its popularity to not stick out.  That is if you pick something understated and not a spiked dog collar like one.

Anyone else wear a choker?

Yeah I do. I have used hair bands as a collar/necklace. I like the strechy beaded ones the best. I also will add to it, a clip on earring that dangles down in the front. I have a collection of around 60 clip-ons and have found that the hair band, clip on earring combination can make a prety cute neclace.

I have been told by many women "Oh what a cute necklace" and they aways surprised when I show them what it really is...LOL And you are right...it does hide the adam apple.

If I see someone I don't know wearing a choker the first thing I look for is to see if they are hding an adams apple.

Well you cannot help but to see a ton of chokers/collars around me so, as I said, in my area it does not stick out at all.  If you checked everyone out, you would not get very far into a mall or flea market.

In the Leather community collars are very common, denoteing that the person is in service to another.

I general public women who wear the stylish collars/chokers do not attrract my attention due to the fact that I have no attraction to the women who use one as a fashion statement.

i love chokers. my fav is one of those wire dog training collars that have the spikes inside but i wear it inside out.

I can't wear a choker or most necklaces... My neck is almost the same width as the my head, from side to side. Which is to say, my neck is very big compared to normal, mostly thanks to having an enlarged thyroid gland.

Just keep in mind that people with less body fat will show an apple much more prominatly then a person with more, so the thiner you are it will show more and the heavier you are the less it will show.
