On 17th July 2008, BBC Radio 4 broadcast a candid interview by Olivia O'Leary with the spouses of two transsexual people as part of their 'Between Ourselves' series.
The series brings together two people who have had profound and similar experiences, to hear their individual stories and compare the long-term effects on each of their lives.
In this episode, the wife of a trans woman and the husband of a trans man discuss how they have coped with their partners' gender transition.
