No. The size of the dose, however, will be determined by your body's needs.

That's one of the reasons people should be under doctor's care to be on cross-gender hormones.  In the case of testosterone, it is also a conrolled substance (like narcotics). 

So get your HRT letter from your gender counselor and then ask about a transfriendly endocrinologist or other MD.
