Sagging from binding?

I am considering starting to bind, I think I'm going to do it part-time, like when I go out in public and just wear a tight sports bra at home, but I'm worried about the breast tissue deterioration.

How would it look? Does it look particularly bad?

I mean, I'm fine if they don't look particularly good, that's expected, but I don't want them to look disgusting in case I hook up with anyone.

And surgery is out of the question at least for quite some years. Not even sure if the surgery I want is available but anyways that's another discussion.

I've been binding with layered sports bras and more recently an Underworks binder for about two years. I already sagged before binding, so I might not be the best example, but it doesn't seem like binding has made them sag more. It affects the tissue, definitely, but I doubt you'd look "disgusting." You'll be fine as long as you follow this rule: if it hurts (you might have a bit of discomfort sometimes, but I mean really HURTS), find a new method. What are you planning on using when you're out in public?

I use a tight sports bra, and wrap this thingie on top. I say thingie because I have no idea what exactly it is, my mother's doctor gave her two of them when she injured her shoulder and she didn't notice when I "borrowed" them. Basically it's like a reallyyyyyy big, long, and thin rubber band. Literally, it's like 6in wide, tagboard thin, about 6-7ft long and stretchy. The combo of the two works quite well aesthetically, although I'm not used to -that- much pressure yet. But I'll get there.

I think it depends on how big your chest is.  The less tissue you have the less it can sag, right?

I only bind when I go to work or into town, and I've been doing that for the past 4 months and haven't noticed hardly any change at all, but I don't have a very big chest either.

it's mostly supposed to change if it's long-term use.  if you do it for most of the hours of the day and after quite some time of doing such, you're more likely to have that happen.  not that i'm an expert or anything, ha, but i haven't seen or heard of any sagging for part-time binders.

I bind quite frequently, started almost a year ago when my buds got me a binder for my b-day from T-kingdom. A tight sports bra will do wonders hun, I also do that a lot when i am taking a break from my binder. I have some precautions for you though, which seem obvious, but i gotta say them.

-dont use tape or ace bandage. EVER.
-if you DO end up getting an actual binder, make sure you get the right size. The one i got is a size too small and I have trouble breathing in it, sometimes even stop breathing for a period of a few seconds and find myself panting for air. That's a lot of strain in the ribcage when its that small.

Binding wont really noticeably make your chest sag (not that i've noticed on myself) to a point that it would be icky or anything.

Oh alright. I'm not fussed if it sags, I suppose that'll happen eventually even if you don't bind. Just as long as it isn't a turnoff.

I bound tight and continuously for many years but I think started losing bounce back within a year and about 2 years after they were lying flat like pancakes against my body. After that the binider just kept stretching the skin but everything was already pretty crushed.

Rubber band doesn't sound too safe :-/

I got my binder from T-Kingdom a couple of days ago so i can't say whether or not I'm sagging yet, I haven't been binding long. I WILL say this however, my binder is very comfortable, it does flatten my chest. I thought about getting a smaller size because there's a little bit of bulge, but I've been told it looks like a muscular male chest, which is what I'll be going for when I start hitting the gym.

All I can say is that I would recommend T-Kingdom if you're concerned because I won't be able to have surgery for years either. It's just tight enough that I can breathe and move freely but still pass as a guy and hasn't messed up my chest (so far)

sounds like an ace bandage to me.  theyre usually bad news since they lose elasticity, bind too tightly sometimes, slip, cause welts, long term use can damage your ribcag... and theres probably stuff im forgetting.  if it seems okay and youre bing careful and not binding that often then you'll probably be okay.  i highly reccomend a real binder though.

Eh, rubber band's the best I got right now since my parents are highly intolerant and also have no clue of my gender issues. So unless I can convince a friend to order one for me, [which just might happen but I'm not counting on it,] I have no access to a binder for a few years.

The Underworks binders at least, they're like...stretchy but not. When I first got mine, I was fascinated. It wasn't like anything I'd felt before. It flattens me perfectly, and I've got an average size chest. The Double Front is only $30, so it might be more in your price range.

Assuming I could find someone to order it for me, I could definitely afford something $30, but the Double Front one, how long is it? Cause I want one from T-Kingdom mainly because they offer long ones that resemble a tank top. That way I can get it past my parents very easily assuming they don't look too close. Which is quite worth the extra money hehe. And I already know the famous Tri-top from Underworks is mid-length, so I didn't bother to look at their other ones.

Tritop is only short one it seems rest go to lower hips it seems depending on size of hips lol.  I ended up having to trim the double front one because was too long, hasn't effected compression fortunantly but do wish I had gone with a tritop

tritops are the only triple layered ones right?  cause im uber worried about compression since i have bigguns, but i want a longer one. >_>  maybe i'll just get a longer double front wih the tritop over it!  AHA!

Well I have been wearing my Tri-top for about a year now when Im not wearing it I either go bra less or wear sports bras so there is no boost at all.. they aren't purky at all.. REALLY saggy but I am about either a C or a D cup..

Arggggg, my father noticed my rudimentary binding last night and got on my case majorly. I guess I have to make do with a tight sports bra until I can move the hell out. -excessive profanity- He's SO prejudiced to the extreme.

Depends on what you're ordering. I only paid 40 bucks (including shipping) for my T-kingdom binder, and it looks like a tank top so it's not very out of place, the material feels like spandex or something, and in the chest region there's some kind of stiff padding to compress my boobs. It sort of smooshes them down and sideways so they pop out a little bit where the armholes are on the tank top, but with a T-shirt on I look like I have a muscular male chest (depending on the tightness of my shirt). If it's a loose enough shirt, I'm mostly flat.

Maybe you could get away with wearing something that looks like a tank top/wifebeater? I balked at T-Kingdom prices at first too, til I found my 40 dollar model, and yes, I am a B cup too. 34 B and I ordered a Large since they said 34-36 cm for large...You could probably order a little smaller than that, but I'm happy with my manly looking chest.
