So, I have a yeast infection. Everything down there is perfect, and the doc says it's healed very well and nothing is wrong with the parts and none of the parts are infected -- but I've got a yeast infection.
The reason is that I'm battling bronchitis (a lung infection, in other words) and my immune system is down. Also, the good bacterial inside of me isn't 100% strong yet, so evil yeasts demons have taken over. They took swabs of it to confirm. Welcome to your first girlie problem, girl!
The good thing is that I just take the normal yeast infection stuff a woman takes and it goes away. And I'm not badly infected at the moment, it's pretty minor. The bad thing is that the antibiotics for the lung infection can also kill off the good bacteria, which also can cause yeast infections since it buggers up the good bacteria trying to grow down there, which puts your vagina balance in order.
I'm glad it's only minor. It sux being sick. I need the antibiotics for my lung infection, but on the other side of the coin it doesn't help the yeast infection. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.
I clean myself down there pretty well, but ironically the doctors said I could be doing it too well and upsetting the balance down there. X_x
Being a girl is awesome possum.
(ur, except when you get a yeast infection, the rest of it is by far much better. LOL)
I've had many a yeast infection before, but its all over the body, and not in a specific place. You really DO need beneficial bacteria. Not only do we need it, we effectively are bacterial. Our organelles have origins in bacteria. So the very cells you own, are not only apparently outnumbered by these pieces of life, but they are also partially made from them. Its no wonder a complex interwoven, symbiotic system would arise in humans.
So you need it, most definitely. There is a constant balance issue in our modern society. Its between fungus and bacteria. So get on that. Don't let your bleached bread, omega 3 lacking, bacterially sterile, terrible diets get the best of you. They've now scientifically proven that some strains can make it all better in like a couple weeks or so. Bifidus I think Infantis, Bifidus regularus, etc.
Go to the local store/health food store, and get some probiotics and dissolve them there. It might help. Or like... Actevia. It could help... Just take a bath afterwards or something.
I really can't imagine though... I can't even fathom having a vagina, let alone having an infection right now... Kind of just getting used to the breasts... Heh Haahha.
