Karan, one of the busiest heroes of Kollywood, has signed yet another film, but the interesting part of the news is that Karan will play a eunuch in this film, which is a very bold decision. In an image-conscious industry, Karan's decision is incredibly surprising and it lets everyone know how serious he takes his acting career; Karan has donned myriad roles throughout his career, including that of a college student, romantic hero, innocent villager, illicit liquor brewer, etc.

Sources say Karan will enact this role in his forthcoming film, Ardhanari, to be directed by Nanda, who directed Oru Kallooriyin Kadhai. Nanda was full of praise for Karan who accepted this role readily. He was surprised by the actor's commitment levels.
