Since your confidence is horrible, you could test it out for a week or so, and then decide,but... if you decide against it, that ll complicate things Im sure...um...are you a shy-type, introvert, quiet person? but in the end, you have have to make the decision, and no one elses' opinion matters because its easy to say something and not have to worry about living it, but its you who will have to live it, so you have to be comfortable enough to do it, but dont decide against it cause lack of confidence.

I'm really shy unless I am in an upbeat mood. Then I'm social, and I can be ridiculous in public. And thats what I'm afraid of. People hearing my voice.... And ruining my life.

yeah...THats why you probably wont want to be in the middle of two genders, because people arent accepting of that. If you go in the girls restroom, and they know your biological parts, that could be bad. Really bad. And then the guys... hmm... But since your ridiculous when you are social, just play it off! If they hear your voice, keep bein ridiculus and act like you re doing it on purpose. See... All it takes is creativity. And Conifidence

Yeah, if only there were more open-minded people...

i reckon there are, but open minded is not necessarily informed.

Since there aren't urinals, she should be okay. She can sit.

Hell, I always sit in the men's room and everyone just thinks I'm retarded. Like Forrest Gump retarded. At least they think I have a penis. A retarded penis.

Well I just got back from my vaction to Quebec City last night, and I had some washroom experiences there. The most uncomfortable being that one in the museum, and even though I do not speak French that well, I'm pretty sure that woman in the washroom was asking if I was a girl. All I could do was was grone and stand there trying to be invisible.

Really? Aren't there unisex bathrooms in Canada? (Sorry if you're not even talking about Canada; I can be a stupid person sometimes.)

Plus, I doubt the mounties would hurt you for being in the little boy's room.

Well I did happen to run into one unisex bathroom in Quebec and was over joyed, but for the most part bathrooms in Canada are the traditional men's and women's with no third one for transsexual.

And while I want to use the men's room, I'd rather not explain it to my parents who would probably make a big fuss about it if I just walked in the men's room. I did come out to them a couple weeks ago though and they're fine with it and weren't very surprised. Now I'd only wish they'd stop using feminine pronouns when talking about me.

Hmm. That is tough.

My dad took me into the men's room the first few times I went. The first time was he wanted to show me what a urinal looked like. The few times after that we just went to wash our hands before lunch.

I'm sure your parents will come around, but I know that it's enormously frustrating having to wait for them to switch pronouns.

Yes, of course they can because guys are so observant that they know what girl peeing sounds like. lol I'm being sarcastic incase you didn't notice.

But seriously, I'm just worried about looking weird going in the stall and sitting down to pee.

I don't know. Would girls know what guy peeing sounds like?

I've heard guys pee. I mean, it sounds harder, but that's because they're standing and I'm sitting...

Well a sollution to that would be not to go unless you really, really had to, then it would come out harder.

Hmn. I wouldn't hold it. Bad for the bladder...

But since it's a pretty subtle difference, I won't worry about it too much.

This two genders thing sucks...

I just went back to school this week and I'm only Nate with my friends. My new binders still haven't come in yet, nor has my package, and it really bugs me seeing that slight curve in my shirts and I could probably deal with it better if I could forget that people aren't seeing me as a guy.

I got "he" and "sir" a couple of times this week because I guess my shirts are baggy enough that you really have to be looking to see my boobs, but today when I was standing in line for food, the lady behind the counter said to the other one "he ordered a veggie pizza" and the other lady was like "...that's not a he, that's a she" and four of them started this whole conversation about how they could tell I was a "girl" especially because black guys usually don't have long straight hair. By long I mean, my hair is maybe 3 inches off my head. It was really rude of them, especially discussing it as though I weren't standing right there waiting for my food. It was seriously depressing, it was like I was just beginning to get confidence in myself and wondering why I really hadn't decided to go as Nate this semester then wham people keep reminding me how much of a "girl" my appearance is no matter how masculine my clothes or my walk.

Even today in one of my classes, one that met for the first time ever, there were these pricks in the corner who laughed when the prof called my name and I corrected him with the "andro" name I've decided to use this semester (Tai) until I can be Nate full time. It was only when my name was called did they realize "oh, that's a 'girl'."

It sucks that everyone sees something as "boy," or "girl" in my case just because of the parts on the outside...
