A Blurry Line Can Divide Male and Female Athletes

The title of this article underscores the basic problem, the blurred
vision of medical and legal authorities who define people according to
sex characteristics. Male and female are the two official sexes and
for some reason, the rest of us blur the lines between these pure
people. The rest of us are suffering from abnormalities, are impure,
disordered and the experts in this article, Reiner and Vilain, are two
of the main proponents perpetuating this blurred vision about anyone
who deviates from the purity of "total male" or "total female".

I can't agree with the strident tone of this article's comments.
While Vilain is probably be out to lunch, this article would certainly not tell me
how that is.

The very fact that this article is ridiculing decisions and things said
in the 50's with a 2000's view is properly ridiculous.

This is decade when gays were considered criminals, TS unknown,
conformity reigned (with a few exception as "On the Road" attests)
and women considered lesser creatures, etc.
This makes me think that person's not in touch with reality.
