Very true. The only reason I'm worried about the time frame is that, unfortunately, due to financial/insurance issues, I'm probably not going to be able to start T until next year.
I'm planning to go back to school the following September, so I'm hoping to be more or less passable by then. I don't need to be perfect, but I'd at least like to have plausible deniability.

(i.e., if I get ma'am-ed I'd like to be able to correct the person and have them think, "Oops. Made a mistake," rather than "Wow, that chick's deluded." )
If shots will do that for me, and gel won't, I'll push for the shots. But, if the difference is minimal, then I'd just as soon do the gel anyway.
T-boy -- Out of curiosity, why don't you recommend pellets for starting out on T? (I know. All these questions! But I'm one of those people who has to know all the wherefores about everything.
