This is my update on my 15 year old Mariah. She spent the night here last night, and I am happy to report it went very well. As I have mentioned, Pam and I live in a small apartment, so to be alone with someone is a challange. So she goes in the bedroom and gets on the computer to that teen site that I will not mention the name but has been on the news because of perverts, but anyway, she wanted me to stay with her and show me all her new pictures that were up and stupid comments from some of her friends and this funny emo girl. Then we watched "Medeas Family Reunion" (I liked Diary Of A Mad Black Woman better) but she sat right up against me on the couch anf held on to my arm. It felt so great that she wanted to be close to me. Then before I dropped her off today to go to her first counceling appointment, I took her to get the new backpack she just has to have for when school is back in. I hope things can continue with her like that. Time will tell.
