Divas: Mission celebrates 50 years of rescuing those in need

Originally focused on domestic violence laws, the network and its
sister organization, the Idaho Women's Network Research & Education
Fund, have expanded to include issues such as reproductive rights,
GLBT (gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered) equality issues, quality
education, and quality health care. They support ending gender-based
violence and are advocates for economic justice. They aim to play a
vital role in shaping the public policies in Idaho that impact women,
families and communities. "We work through a human rights lens" says
Executive Director Donna Wade.
